90+2 mins: Mosquera jumps into the back of Jensen and is penalised. Brentford have a free-kick 35 yards out.

90 mins: Henderson sends in a superb cross to Nelson, who must score but heads wide from seven yards.

Five minutes added on.

89 mins: Hugo Bueno’s corner is easily cleared but he sends the ball back, only for Brentford to get rid once more.

Angel Gomes is booked for clattering into Jensen, helping to curtail a counter.

88 mins: Brentford have a corner on the right …

Edwards withdraws Armstrong for Rodrigo Gomes.

86 mins: Reiss Nelson is coming on. Can he make the difference? Outtara makes way.

More intriguingly, Sa is no longer taking Wolves’ goal kicks. His ankle must be troubling him.

Wolves to send on Moller Wolfe and Rodrigo Gomes.

84 mins: Mosquera has his ear pulled by Lewis-Potter. All very playground stuff.

Anyway … Kayode is lining up a throw on the left. Sa comes off his line to punch clear. The end result? Brentford have a throw on the other side. Kayode sprints off, gets his towel out and takes aim again. Sa does the business again.

82 mins: Kayode thinks dribbling out of defence, straight down the middle of the pitch is a good idea. I can confirm it is not, but he gets away with it thanks to a foul.

80 mins: Do Brentford have a response? They push back at Wolves but an aimless cross into the box is clear. A more accurate one follows from the right but Lewis-Potter heads over.

79 mins: Wolves are looking for a winner … they get back into the Brentford box but nothing comes on it. They have all the momentum here.

A few seconds later, Arokodare heads against the crossbar. Game of the season?

GOAL! Joao Gomes clips a cross to the back post, Arokodare is more alert than Henderson and heads home from close range.

GOAL! Brentford 2-2 Wolves (Arokodare, 77)

The substitute delivers.

76 mins: The ball drops to Angel Gomes on the edge of the box, he takes a neat touch and fires a shot but it goes a yard wide. Wolves are very much in this.

74 mins: Wolves are plotting a change, too, with Arokodare getting stripped. He is on for Bellegarde.

72 mins: Off goes Damsgaard and Ajer comes on. Lewis-Potter, one assumes, will move further up.

70 mins: Play is stopped so Damsgaard can receive treatment for a knee injury. The Brentford man does not look to happy.

69 mins: Kayode warms up the shoulders and flings the ball in but Van den Berg heads over.

Yarmoliuk is on for Schade. Brentford need to stop Wolves controlling the midfield area, that’s for sure.

67 mins: Lewis-Potter does some fine work on the left and chips in a cross to the back post, which Schade heads back into the danger zone. Wolves remove the danger at the expense of a throw.

Yarmoliuk is being prepared by Andrews.

Justin Kavanagh writes: “Shaun’s excellent effort at a Weary Wolves in London pun might not be a completely lost cause when one looks at manager Rob Edwards, who seems like the kind of creature who might well be spotted sipping a piña colada at Trader Vic’s later tonight. And you just know that his hair will be perfect. Draw blood!”

65 mins: Mosquera launches a throw but it bounces off a head and into Kelleher’s arms.

63 mins: In a time where risks are rarely taken, Wolves do like to try a bold pass forward. Admittedly, few are coming off but it is nice to see something progressive.

61 mins: Wolves are really doing their best to push Brentford back here.

59 mins: Quite a rare sight in a Premier League game but there is a decent amount of action in open play. Wolves have enjoyed the majority of possession in this half.

57 mins: OFF THE POST! Wolves are very good at going back to front quickly. Armstrong reaches a ball over the top first, and lays it out to Tchatchoua who crosses it back to Armstrong who jabs against the woodwork.

Collins is booked for a foul on Bellegarde.

A bit of concern after Sa catches a through ball half an inch inside his own area.

55 mins: Sa, who has just returned from an ankle injury, is testing out the joint. He looks a little uncomfortable.

The goalkeeper is a spectator as Outtara clips a ball to the back post, which Bellegarde heads behind. Jensen swings it in from the left and it complete misses everyone, despite bouncing inside the six-yard box.

53 mins: Wolves once again get into a promising position but Tchatchoua’s delivery is not great and ends up in Kelleher’s arms.

The right-wing back does better when receiving a cross, volleying a shot at goal but it also ends up with Kelleher.

51 mins: Some neat Brentford play gives Outtara a chance to get beyond the defence but Wolves recovered and remove the danger.

49 mins: Schade gallops down the left and then loops a cross into – and out – of the box as it defeats everyone.

47 mins: Hugo Bueno gets into a good position on the left and his cross has plenty of whip on it but there is no one in blue in the box to attack it.

Second half

Here we go again!

Wolves have sent on Angel Gomes for Mateus Mane.

“Kudos on your four-game Wolves-whisperer streak, but Wanderers’ Unwinning ways are threatening to come to an end today,” jokes Peter Oh.

Charles Antaki emails: “Blame the discussion of Wolves’ colours, but readers of a certain vintage will may possibly be prompted by Mateus Mané’s name to recall that sophisticated elixir of our youth, Mateus Rosé. It was the elegant companion to Black Bull in the red corner and Blue Nun in the white. And I’m sure in those days the shirts were actually Old Gold.”

Half-time reading.

Half time: Brentford 2-1 Wolves

It is a deserved lead for the Bees but Wolves have set up the second half thanks to Armstrong.

It transpires that Sa picked up a backpass in the buildup to the Wolves goal. I assume people will be talking about it for the next 15 minutes.

45 mins: Two minutes added on.

GOAL! Brentford 2-1 Wolves (Armstrong, 44)

It is a lovely touch and finish to reduce the deficit. The striker gets the ball 25 yards from goal, he takes a sublime touch and pings the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box. GAME ON!

42 mins: Kayode rockets in a long throw, which is flicked on at the front post to Thiago who heads against the bar.

There is a quick VAR check for a penalty but it’s just the usual in-box grappling.

Wolves have not looked too bad but have zero threat in the final third.

40 mins: Wolves have a corner on the left. Mane sends it to the back post and the ball goes behind for a goal kick off a blue head.
