Full time, Rangers 2-2 Celtic
Rangers bossed the first half, Celtic the second, and in the end it’s the perfect outcome for Hearts. Spectacular goals, a dramatic fightback, a chaotic late equaliser: this derby had it all.
93 min Gassama wins a free-kick from Saracchi out wide on the right. Celtic clear the delivery with ease.
An email lands from Graeme Hunter. “I’m a lifelong Rangers man, but I’m hoping Hearts win the title. Can’t bring myself to hope for a Celtic equaliser, though.” It’s happened regardless! Hearts fans will be praying it stays this way.

Butland saves, then saves again, but Hatate scores at the third time of asking. Madness.
89 min Raskin is booked for some sort of pre-penalty nonsense. Hatate is going to take it.

Butland did make a great save with his face, but only after Sterling had headed the ball down on to his own arm. It’s a dramatic late spot kick for the visitors …

86 min Butland keeps Rangers ahead! Forrest shows lovely close control to get away on the right and crosses to Maeda, but the goalkeeper makes a point-blank save.
85 min Rangers win a corner to relieve a bit of the pressure, but it’s cleared. Celtic make their final change, Nyrgen coming off for James Forrest.
83 min Saracchi attempts a hit-and-hope towards Maeda, but the Rangers defence just about holds together.
81 min A long ball up to Maeda gets Souttar in a muddle and Tounekti looks to capitalise, but Dujon Sterling shows excellent defensive nous to deny him.
78 min Souttar is booked for a mistimed lunge on Tounekti. Celtic have a free-kick to the left of the box, Nyrgen stepping up. Murray gets on the end of it, but loops his header over the crossbar. Celtic are hammering on the door here, but are yet to force it open.
77 min So close! An excellent passing move ends with McCowan shaping to shoot at the far post, but Butland gets down low and makes a crucial save.
76 min Hatate makes a brilliant run into the box, but gets his feet in a muddle before he can let loose.
75 min Nygren has a go, but his free-kick doesn’t make it past the wall.
74 min Gassama has Scales on the back foot, but his cross is cleared. Celtic counter and Nyrgen wins a free-kick on the edge of the area after a wild lunge from Chukwuani.
72 min Another double change for Celtic, Tierney and Yang coming off for Marcelo Saracchi and Luke McCowan. Rangers also make a substitution, Djeidi Gassama coming on for Skov Olsen.
69 min Another great chance for Celtic! Nygren wins a 50-50 in the box and picks out Hatate on the charge, but he can’t keep his shot down.
68 min Rommens and Diomande combine out wide on the left, but the latter’s cross is easily cleared. Rangers are trying to reassert themselves here.
64 min Hatate cuts down Raskin in midfield and Rangers have a set-piece opportunity. Moore pumps in a long ball which falls for Diomande. He gets two chances to shoot, but the first is blocked and the second sails over.
63 min Röhl makes a tactical reshuffle, bringing on Mohamed Diomande for Naderi.
Simon McMahon is back among the emails. “All Hearts, and indeed Motherwell, fans will no doubt be urging Celtic on to an equaliser.”
61 min Celtic get forward and nab another corner. Tierney gets a good ball into the box, but Skov Olsen clears. Tounekti recycles the ball and picks out the onrushing Maeda in the box, but he heads straight at Butland. A great chance for an equaliser.
60 min A shaky spell of passing at the back ends with Sinisalo hoofing a clearance out of play. Celtic can’t afford any more daft mistakes.
57 min Chermiti gets in behind on the right but smashes a cross out of play, drawing a moan from the stands.
GOAL! Rangers 2-1 Celtic (Tierney 56)
It’s back on! Celtic’s pressure pays off, a lovely passing move ending with Nygren picking out Tierney who nods past Butland to half the deficit.
54 min Celtic get their first shot on target, Hatate lining one up from distance only for Butland to get down and push wide.
52 min McGregor attempts an ambitious pass in behind, but it’s beyond the reach of Maeda.
51 min Celtic earn a corner and Tierney takes it. A mass of blue shirts bars the way and the ball is flicked clear.
50 min Araujo sends in a dangerous ball from the right, but nobody gets on the end of it. It’s better from the visitors.
49 min Celtic apply a bit of pressure, but struggle to work an opening. Araujo picks out Nygren just outside the area, but he turns on his heel and lashes a shot well over.
47 min Skov Olsen finds Moore, who whips a cross to the far post. Rommens gets to the ball but can only scuff straight to Sinisalo.
46 min Raskin crosses to Chermiti, who squares for Skov Olsen. His shot is blocked for a corner, which comes to nothing.

We’re back under way at Ibrox and Celtic are immediately in trouble, Murray clearing with difficulty after the hosts pour forwards.

Half-time, Rangers 2-0 Celtic
That was a rough half for the visitors, who made little of note going forward and were all over the place at the back. Moore ran the show in midfield, Chermiti combined the magical with the mundane for two very different goals, and Rangers have a solid advantage at the break. Celtic have a mountain to climb.
43 min Another free-kick for Rangers, this time taken by Skov Olsen. Naderi heads it back across the box from the left and it falls for John Souttar, but his shot is blocked.
40 min Skov Olsen wins a free-kick from Tierney in a dangerous area to the right of the box. Moore picks out Emmanuel Fernandez in a perfect position, but he glances his header wide.
38 min Celtic put together a nice passing move, but Moore tackles Oxlade-Chamberlain on the edge of the area and looks to break. McGregor, who has been a yard behind him all half, brings him down for the first yellow card of the game.
36 min Rommens brings down Yang in a similar position up the other end of the field. Oxlade-Chamberlain curls a delivery to the far post where Maeda is waiting, but he can’t land a clean header and Butland collects.
35 min Rangers win a free kick out wide on the left flank. Moore whips the ball straight to Sinisalo.
34 min Ryan Naderi almost reaches a loose ball in Celtic’s area, but can’t quite stretch far enough to poke it goalwards.
